For Kids & Families
The Columbus Arts Festival, presented by Time Warner Cable brings the best in fine art and fine craft to Columbus, June 6, 7 & 8, 2014. We’re creating a BIG festival experience—diverse, inclusive and creative with an emphasis on engaging a broader spectrum of the community.
Here are some of the fun and exciting activities happening all weekend that kids and families will enjoy:
Hands On Art Activities Area
Throwing clay pots, making glass beads, or creating a journal to jot down your creative ideas – you and your family can do all that and more at the Columbus Arts Festival. Hands-on art activities for adults and kids offer opportunities for all ages to try their hand in the creative process. The Hands On Art Activities Area will be located in the parking lot near Civic Center and Main Streets.
Located in the Hands On Art Activities Area on Saturday and Sunday, don’t miss the Children’s Gallery, where children 12 and under can purchase original artwork donated by Festival artists for $5 or less.
Performances by the Grass Patch Performers, local actors ages 4-12 will take place on the lawn behind the main stage on Saturday. Park your chair for this special treat from central Ohio’s Dramatic Impact with Candace Mazur-Darman.
