New Attraction Celebrates the Culinary Arts at the 50th Annual Columbus Arts Festival
Columbus, Ohio - Looking to savor some of your favorite restaurants all in one place? Head to the 2011 Columbus Arts Festival presented by Time Warner Cable, June 3, 4 and 5 in the Discovery District, and try the diverse offerings from some of Columbus’ favorite restaurants featured in the Festivals new gourmet attraction Savor the Arts presented by Dine Originals.
In partnership with Dine Originals, Savor the Arts will present some of Columbus’ finest restaurants. This program seeks to restore the legacy of Gourmet Fare, which was once a vital part of the Festival. Savor the Arts will feature special menus by the Dine Originals restaurants, as well as wine and beer tastings.
Dine Originals celebrates, supports, and promotes locally owned and operated independent restaurants throughout central Ohio. They provide unique dining experiences for their customers, and members that benefit the surrounding communities.
The 2011 Savor the Arts local restaurants include: Barcelona, Barrio, Black Creek Bistro, Deepwood, Due Amici, G. Michaels, Katzinger’s Delicatessen & Catering, Mozarts Bakery & Piano Café, Rigsby’s Kitchen, Tasi’s Café, The Elevator Brewery & Draught Haus, The Refectory Restaurant & Bistro and The Top Steakhouse.
Savor the Arts will be available 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 3 and 4 and from 11:30 a.m. -3 p.m. on Sunday, June 5. For a full list of restaurant offerings during the Festival please visit the Savor the Arts page.
The Festival will feature 240 artists from across the U.S. along with musical performances, the Word is Art Stage presented by Ohio Magazine and hands-on activities for adults and children.
